About Us
| Traveleyes - About Us |
At Traveleyes we plan each venture with close attention to quality and detail. Our holiday destinations cover Europe, Africa and the Americas, and vary from the unique and exploratory to relaxing sunshine breaks. The idea for Traveleyes was evolved by our visually impaired founder Amar Latif. Amar has had extensive experience in travelling to many destinations with many different organisations and often found limitations in these experiences. It was this need to go where he wanted to go and do what he wanted to do that inspired him to establish Traveleyes. Beyond Boundaries - BBC2
Amar Latif, the founder of Traveleyes, appeared in this BBC2 documentary filmed in the jungles of Central America. The four-part programme was shown in November 2005. It explored the levels of endurance attainable by travellers of various disabilities ‘roughing it’ through dense jungle. Amar’s award is for being Outstanding Young Business Entrepreneur of the World, and it was presented to him at a ceremony in Vienna. The award recognises the achievements of individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 who have demonstrated the best attributes of the world’s young people.
