Welcome to Harrogate
Join us for a spring sojourn to the heart of Yorkshire. Harrogate, formerly known as ‘’The English spa,’’ is awash with both culture and culinary treats. Breathe in the soothing sulphurous waters to cleanse the soul before turning your back on healthy living and embracing arguably Yorkshire’s greatest asset – the quite rightfully renowned Betty’s café and tea rooms. From Betty’s saunter around the Montpellier quarter, surrounding you are refurbished 19th century buildings containing fine art, antiques, boutiques and more cake! Escape the town centre to greener pastures – the valley gardens and stunning Harlow Carr. The RHS flagship overloads the senses with the smells and bursting colours of this botanical paradise. We also include one more treat, a day trip and guided tour to York. We will explore the equally atmospheric cobbled streets of The Shambles and the architectural splendour of the Minster. Polish off your break with an afternoon at York’s Chocolate Story, the icing on top of your decadent delicacy-devouring tour of Yorkshire.
