Sunday 3rd February

Discover the secrets of Marrakech on our guided tour this morning, beginning with Almohad Koutoubia Minaret and the lavishly decorated Saadien Tombs. Next, explore the labyrinth of narrow alleyways making up the aromatic souks of the city, all leading to Djemaa el Fna Square. Until the 19th century the square displayed the heads of convicted criminals in Marrakech, earning its name ‘The Assembly of the Dead’.  In the afternoon, there is the option to explore the Palmeraie in the most traditional way possible – by camel.  Please note Palmeraie is around a 20-minute drive from the hotel and the camel ride lasts for approximately 1 hour.

Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight in Marrakech.

Monday 4th February

Enjoy a free day to soak up the wonderful, multi-sensory atmosphere of Marrakech; perhaps you will delve back into the maze of markets in the old Medina Quarter or simply sit back and relax by the pool in our delightful hotel.

Alternatively, you have the opportunity to visit Ouzoud Waterfalls, an oasis of natural beauty in Marrakech. Take time here to dip in the tantalising waters, a refreshing break from the dry heat of Morocco. Listen to the cascading water, and the sounds of nature all around you. What you do with your afternoon here is up to you, enjoy a lunch with a view around the pools or wander along one of the many paths that surround this captivating scenery. If you are lucky, you may spot one of the many monkeys that reside here! We will then return to the hotel and the evening is yours.

Breakfast included. Overnight in Marrakech.

Today is free to spend at your own pace with the opportunity to treat yourself to an authentic Moroccan spa experience in a traditional hammam. The hammam is an important part of Moroccan culture and life, with most locals visiting on a weekly basis to catch up with their friends whilst following long cleansing rituals until their skin glows. Lie back, relax, and reinvigorate with a body massage, followed by a scrub and steam in beautifully ornate surroundings.  Please note as there are several treatments available this will be arranged whilst in Marrakech.

This afternoon you may wish to join our optional cooking class where we’ll unveil the secrets of Morocco’s unique and richly varied cuisine. Influenced by Andalusian Spain, Arabia and France, Moroccan cooking abounds with subtle spices and intriguing flavour combinations. After learning some traditional skills from our ‘dada’ (traditional Moroccan cook) we will test our own cooking abilities before indulging in our culinary creations!
