Friday 7th February

Today we depart for Paris on the Eurostar from London St Pancras and we’ll arrive in the French capital mid-afternoon. We’ll check in to our hotel and get ready for our first evening in Paris!

Saturday 8th February

What better way to start our holiday in Paris than with a boat cruise down the River Seine. We’ll sail past some of Paris’s most famous monuments including the Musee d’Orsay, Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower and more! Our journey will end at the Eiffel Tower which coincidentally is the place for our next excursion. We’ll journey up to one of the highest levels of this iconic Parisian structures for incredible views over the city.

Sunday 9th February

Today’s city walk will be in the Marais district of Paris. This part of the city with its winding streets will give us an insight into what most of Paris used to be like and on our walk, we’ll discover a medieval mansion, quiet gardens, city walls, Paris’s oldest square, and the old Jewish quarter. This area is one that Parisians like to keep to themselves, so we’ll really delve into local life here! The rest of this Sunday is yours to spend at leisure so why not visit some of the museums, monuments and districts that Paris is famous for – The Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, or Montmartre.

Monday 10th February

The Pantheon, in Paris’s Latin Quarter, is one of the most famous buildings in the city and we’ll be going on a guided tour today to discover just what this building represents. Originally built as a church dedicated to St Genevieve, The Pantheon now functions as a burial place for French heroes including Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille system. This afternoon is free at your leisure so enjoy your last afternoon in Paris!

Tuesday 11th February

It’s time to leave Paris today on the Eurostar. We hope you’ve all had a great time in the French capital, and we hope to see you again soon on another Traveleyes trip.
